The Day of the Final Ceremony: RioHardcore, our live reporting Rio 2016 project covering the Olympics is over, the Games are over – kind of hard to believe after all the hassle and all our work in the past years in the run up to the World Cup and later, to the Olympics.

The city washes the Olympics and the athletes, guests, tourists, events away with loads of storm and rain, we were passing three fallen trees on our way, the city is emptied, life goes on. The crucial question is now: What is the heritage, what will the future look like, what happens after the Olympics? We`ll keep on tracking whats going on.
